Aluminum stiffeners are often used to provide additional support and stability to PVC fences. The addition of aluminum stiffeners can help to prevent sagging or bowing of the fence, which can occur over time due to exposure to elements such as wind and moisture. The effect of aluminum stiffeners on PVC fences is positive, as they help to extend the lifespan and enhance the durability of the fence. However, it's important to ensure that the aluminum stiffeners are properly installed and compatible with the PVC material to avoid any potential issues such as corrosion or rust.
Aluminum stiffeners or inserts are made through an extrusion machine. This involves heating an aluminum billet up to 500-600°C and then forcing it through a die to create the desired shape. The extrusion process uses hydraulic pressure to push the softened aluminum billet through the small opening of the die, forming it into a continuous length of the desired shape. The extruded aluminum profile is then cooled, stretched, cut according to the required length, and treated with heat to enhance its properties, durability and rust resistance. After the aging treatment process, the aluminum profiles are then ready for use in PVC fence applications including post stiffeners, rail stiffeners, etc.
For most FenceMaster customers, they also purchase aluminum stiffeners while purchasing PVC fence profiles. Because on the one hand the FenceMaster aluminum stiffeners are of high quality with favorable price, on the other hand, we can put the aluminum stiffeners into posts and rails, which can greatly reduce the cost of logistics. Best of all, they are a perfect match for each other.
